Longtail siblings

No two longtails look alike - not even litter mates.

Tumbes, Peru ( Natural Habitat of the Longtail Boa )
This Photo was taken by my Friend Pablo Venegas Ibanez of Chiclayo - Peru.
This is the natural habitat of Boa c. longicauda. What a Beautiful Place.

W.C. Female " Light Phase " longtail
Boy I wish I still had this snake.
She was Stolen from my facility back in 1991. If you see her, let me know.

The First Longtail ever
This is the first longtail boa I ever had. She is the one that sarted it all.She came in with the first shipment of longtails from Tumbes Peru in 1989. She is no longer with us but she left quite an impression.

Original Male Longtail
This is the original Wild Caught male that was used as the Holotype to describe these Boas back in 1989. This boa is no longer with us and its preserved body is the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard.

Gravid " Edelbrock " longtail
This boa was C.B in 1995 and bred for its first time in 2001. Longtails take much longer to mature than most Boas.

The Edelbrock bloodline longtails are my Blackest Boas ever. This one is very dark at just a few weeks old.

The Tim Mead bloodline longtails tend to be very Blue as Adults. This guy is turning blue already at a few months of age.

C.B. 1999 " Melzter " Bloodline
These guys are very Yellow with Black.
A very distinct bloodline.

C.B. 2000 " Harding " Bloodline
